As Judaism stresses continuing education throughout a lifetime, we are happy to accommodate educational opportunities for adults. Whether you studied at Yeshiva, Hebrew School, or are just beginning your studies, we have excellent programs for you. Below is a list of the adult classes currently offered.
Torah is a well spring of faith and knowledge. Kenesseth Israel has many classes for Jews of various observance and skill levels. Whether you want to study basic Judaism, Gemara, or difficult halachic issues, our classes are designed to meet the needs of Jews of all backgrounds and levels of observance.
We have many classes that are directed toward adults, and others that are designed for youth. Many older youth come to the adult classes and are able to participate.
Please feel free to look through this section for any classes that might interest you. Jewish education is a continuous process and you can take advantage of the opportunities as much as you enjoy doing so.
Unless otherwise noted, all classes are at Kenesseth Israel Synagogue, are open to men and women, and are conducted in English. In some advanced classes, knowledge of Hebrew is helpful, but not essential.
